Recent Work

Below are works created in response to several themes.  The first five are responses to my childhood passion for dance. As I moved into adulthood, the memories of grace, rhythm, and movement remained part of my loved experience and my passion began appearing in my visual artworks.  Some of these works are figurative with dancers poised in remembered stances.  Some of the works, Syncopation and the Etudes, are abstract nonobjective pieces that reflect my felt sense of rhythm and movement.

Later pieces are abstractions of  my experience of winter in the northeast with snow and wind and ice.  And finally the last piece, Germination, is an intuitively created expression that I prefer to leave to the beholder to make their own associations.
